Andy,

"Revcon, Cortez, Travoy, and Tiara" all used the Toronado FWD unit according
to information on the GMCMI website. I've seen a Cortez on the road but have
no idea what the others look like.

I was sitting at an aniversary party for my out-laws, discussing the GMC with a
bunch of old timers (sorry) who were asking if any other motorhomes used the 455
and FWD. Happened to look out the window. Parked directly across the street
from the catering hall was a Revcon. Not bad looking, but not as clean as our
rigs. Looked heavy. Looked like someone was living in it, actually. There was
PVC drain pipe running into the sewer and copper hooked up to the hose bib. It
looked like it hadn't moved in years. Next time, I am going to pick the
catering hall!

Completely different but used the GM front end, etc. Clark-Cortez also
used the GM 455 and front wheel drive package. After 1977 Revcon went to
a rear drive in a 31' model. They were pretty nice coaches but not a GMC!

There used to be some, I had them listed under sister ships on my web page,
The Cortez is still there but the others seemed to have gone

Gene,
I have found a guy who owns a Tiara. He worked for an Olds dealer and
thinks his is the only one left on the road. He uses it to go to NASCAR
races. Sending me pics and other info on it and I'll get it to someone who
wants to post it to a web page. {:>)

better yet, put them up on PhotoPoint, and I will point to them
