this is an online that requests (but does not demand) an inexpensive subscription. It is a good read every week and this week is better than most.
Well, he just had some thoughts that seem to be at odds with the president of Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.

Interesting article. We are nearing the end of our 28 day, ~6,000 mile trip to the West Coast and back. In the 20 years of traveling with our '76
Palm Beach, I have never seen as many huge 5th wheel trailers (pulled by expensive pickup trucks) and 40' motor homes as this past month. I sort of
felt sorry for them as they struggled in the gusty winds of New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma this past week. I also had to grin knowing that
most of them probably would be in the junk yard before our 43 year old (paid for) GMC goes to its final resting place.

To be honest, I don't consider staying over night in our GMC as camping. We have all the comforts of home, including clean beds, kitchen, bathroom
with shower, internet access, telephone and reliable AC power pretty much every where we go. Camping to me is sleeping in a tent that you carried on
your back.

So far we've spent 8 days in commercial campgrounds due to their locations, 1 night in a national park and the rest in perfectly acceptable Walmart
and Casino parking lots.

Sure we have had problems with our rig, but we did not have to call some RV repairmen to come to us to attempt to fix us or go to a RV repair place to
get fixed. We are pretty much self sufficient as opposed to most of those people with those huge "RVs" and underwater loans.
