What was the question?

Good Sam and identical plan from Camping World covers RVs regardless of
age. That is pretty clear. Road America decided after a couple of years
of covering motorhomes that would not cover anything over 20 years of age
even though they contnued to accept premiums from GMC owners of 1973
vehicles. FMCA dropped them quite quickly!

Good Sam also has a parts replacement insurance plan that covers elected
parts failures such as Engine, trans, etc. That covers all motorhomes
less than 10 years old.

GMCs qualify for the towing insurance but not the parts failure
insurance. So, what was the question?

I notice that a number of individuals replying to e-mail messages
apparently don't have their e-mail system set to include the original
message. This at times causes uncertainty and confusion on the part of
the receiving audience, as Dave points out below.

Therefore, I recommend that everyone attempt to include either the
original text or the pertinent parts thereof, when responding (replying)
to messages.

Dear Mr. Davis:

Thank you for taking the time to contact the Good Sam Club.

Our Emergency Road Service covers all vehicles, regardless of age. We
have a Mechanical Breakdown Insurance that only covers vehicles 10 years
old or newer, but these are two different plans. I have taken the
liberty of requesting that more information be sent to you regarding the
ERS. You should receive this information within seven to ten days.

Again, thank you for your interest. If you have further questions,
please contact our Member Services Department, toll free, at (800)
234-3450, and a representative will be happy to assist you.

David.......Someone said that they thought that if the motorhome was over
10 years old, that Good Sam wouldn't sell you tow insurance............Jim
