What is the range of costs (and sources) for aluminum replacement radiators commonly being used by group members here?

An eBay listing (item # 152959864071) that includes oil cooler fittings and transmission cooler is listed at $650 plus shipping (to Oklahoma City ZIP Code) from Mount Clemens, MI.

I have been watching this item for some time and occasionally the lister drops the price by maybe 10%.

Any comments regarding price and/or suitability?

Mac,
The one that you listed and the one from Jim K are the only 2 aluminum units that are available that I know of.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-1978-GMC-Motorhome-radiator-23-26-ft-model/152959864071?hash=item239d1e4d07:g:GMAAAOSwOXJaj1rk&vxp=mtr
or

and

The first one listed is shown from the back side and the Applied GMC unit is shown from the front.

You know what you getting from Jim K with sales and service, the other unit is appears to be the same layout. I would suggest a call to the supplier to get your questions answered.

Having your stock unit recored is also a viable choice.

Here is the information on the radiator core.

Mac,

Beware the filler neck height. When bought the Griffin 11 years ago I
found it to be really miserable getting the cap on.
Later when I whined and sniveled a little to Gene about that, he told me
they had discovered the problem and were now
making them taller. Darn! That's when I started building filler neck
extensions.

This is a tempting offer. I don't think I need a radiator yet. It is less than someone paid for a brass recore a couple of years ago.

In Complete honesty folks, I believe I used to do business with this company. I stopped needing them and they seemed to go quiet for a while. I
don't know the whole story. What I do know is that unless you live near enough to Lake St. Clair to make dealing with problems a non-issue, I suggest
that you consider the "Hassle Factor" of dealing with an unknown supplier. So, until someone shows up at a Great Lakers rally wearing a Superior
Radiator sweatshirt, and driving a pretty Royale, I am going to reserve judgement.

Just my take on the GMC parts issues....

Thanks for your info, Matt. I need to get and have installed a replacement engine before I do anything more on my coach! I'm basically dead in the water.

Seller's periodic price reduction by 10% has just been posted, dropping the "before shipping" price to $585.

They are apparently a well established company making aluminum replacement radiators for a wide range of vehicles.

I think I'll "bite" on this in anticipation of eventually getting a replacement engine installed in my coach so I can actually USE it!

I rolled the dice on it. It will probably be a long time before I install it since my engine is bad. If you saved it to your eBay list, you will get a notice when seller relists it.
