Aluminum radiator

So I’m contemplating a radiator upgrade.
Could pull the original out and have it rebuilt, or replace it with aluminum radiator.
From what I can tell, either way I go will cost me a bunch.
I see the Griffin radiator is close to a grand with shipping and a rebuilt original is probably $500+
I do notice on eBay 3 and 4 core aluminum radiator is $200-300, what is the difference? What should I look for in an aftermarket radiator?
My 73 does have external oil and trans cooler.

We handle the Superior unit made for the GMC so there is no guessing.
We know the Al does not deteriorate as rapidly as brass..
Al radiator will perform 40% better than original.

Why do you think you need an upgrade? Mine was leaking, bulging from a PO blown engine overheat and both coolers were compromised

Not leaking, yet. But seeing some green scale forming.

Nothing wrong with Brass. Little to gain with aluminum.
Take it to your local radiator shop. They should clean it and fix any leak if there is one for less the $100.
