I'm developing an ALERT PANEL about 3/4"high x 6" long
with 12 dual monitor lights (amber + red) for
monitoring temperatures. I need your thoughts on the
temperatures for the amber light and the red light for
the following stations:
Engine oil
Radiator water
Trany oil in
Trany oil out
Final drive oil
Front hub bearings
Rear hub bearings
Thanks in advance for the input.

Don't recall any response to your request. However, I'm in the process =
of
adding additional gauges/switches/lights to a panel that fits under the
steering column and would like to reserve space for what you are =
proposing.

Will the finished product be something capable of being mounted in a =
panel
opening without falling through (e. g. have a flange around it similar =
to
what a gauge or switch has)??

What advantage do you see in having "Tranny oil in" lights??

Good idea...I'll add it to the basket of suggestions. Wow, this group makes
"virtual designing" real interesting!!
