Sorry to start this thread again, but if these are the chrome plated
Mcgard duelie lug nuts, been there, done that, ....don't do it.
As per the HQ Alcoa rep I spoke to at the time: Alcoa will not warrant
rims on which you install chromed lug nuts. You will note that on the
(shipped with the rims) instructions concerning the installation of lug
nuts, it specifically spells out "Do not use chrome plated".
I sent mine back and got the only Alcoa approved nut ( P/N 139987 )
