Alcoa Wheels

David,

The same problem of properly balancing the wheels exists whether you
have the original steel wheels or Alcoas. The offset makes the wheel
difficult to center properly on the balancing machine. There are many
advantages to the Alcoa wheels, but they are no more or less difficult
to balance than the OEM wheels.

Since your vibration only occurs above 55, it sounds more like a tire
problem(including improper balancing) than wheels.

Further proof that simply throwing money at the rims will not solve many
tire related trouble.

Wether you have steel rims or aluminum, the tir & rim combination must be
trued & statically balanced if you are to rely on having a smooth ride.

Find someone in your area with an"off the coach" truing machine. He will
be able to solve your problem.

It will work!!!
