I will returning to Michigan in late May to bring our coach back to Reno. Will be buying some new tires and would like to replace my old steel spare tire rim with an Alcoa to match my other rims.
Looking for a single Alcoa rim that may be available.

Just how bad do you want that Alcoa? These folks supposedly have 2 left in
stock (maybe the last in the wild?) -- and they LOVE 'em:

OOOoops! I searched for 160231 and didn't notice that the returned ad was
for 160281!

Hope you find a used one.

Take a spare tire cover too. You don't want anyone to know you got 30 pounds of aluminum available. FWIW, the steel rim is less likely to "go missing"
from the carrier.

Just a note on the 16" steel rim. They will not fit over 80mm caliper upgrade on the front. Even with spacers, they will interfere with 80mm
calipers. I tried several combinations including two different part number OEM steel rims. Yes, there are two different rims, only difference that I
could find was type of valve stem.
So, if a 16" steel rim is your spare and you have 80mm calipers on the front, an inopertune flat could result in two tire changes

Yes, there are 2 types of 16" steel rims. One has a dome shaped center,
and the other has a truncated cone shaped center. the dome center will
work with some caliper upgrades. I didn't measure the caliper size on
the coach I installed those wheels on.
Didn't notice a difference in type of valve stem.

Sorry that I was not completely clear. There are two 'domed' 16" GM OEM steel wheels. Plus, there are the easy to find cone shaped ones that are not
useful in our application.

I do have the 80 caliper upgrades. The Classics are on the front now.
You may be right. I have never tried the existing steel spare on the front...or back.
Wil check with Jim K if he has an Alcoa rim.
