Cliff Pike of the GMC Heritage Cruisers reportsWe are sad to have to tell you all that Albert Branscombe of Tiverton passed a couple of days ago after a lengthy fight against lung cancer. Albert and Sheila were long-time Heritage Cruisers members.
Albert was an interesting and innovative character who contributed much to the GMC community, including the upgraded parking brake system that he designed and developed.
Below is the link to Albert’s obituary.

I am loosing my Ontario friends that are younger than me. Al will be missed. Really missed. I remember towing his coach into Bean Station one time with a bad fuel pump. He bought two replacements so he would not need to be towed again. Two years later Colonel ken and Manny had to tow me in for the same problem from almost the same location. I also visited him on my way to and from Owen Sound.

Good by AL

We will miss you.

Here is a photo of Frank Borrmann, Albert Branscombe and myself last September at Borrmann's garage. We were preparing to test Albert's new Electric Caliper Parking Brake (EPB) on my coach. The coach to the left is Eric & Verna Stovold's former coach.

We each have Cancer. Frank passed in April 2023, and now Albert is gone. We are losing a lot of great GMC knowledge and talent as long time owners with mechanical skills pass away.

I'll really miss these guys.
