Al is in a nursing home undergoing physical therapy. According to his wife, he had bypass surgery and then complications. She
believes that he will return home this week.
Mrs. Birch is unsure whether or not Al will be able to continue with the business. If not, she says that there is a person
interested in buying the business. As it stands, the business is on hold for now.
For those who haven't done the math (or don't already knew the answer), Al is 83. He retired from GM in 1974.
