Just a heads up. I went into Walmart yesterday (not a superstore) and tried
to buy the pellets. I was told by two different clerks that they do not sell
them anymore, since they don't sell pellet guns, bb guns or guns at all.

Sorry about the double post. The Good news is that Applied has the Tire
Ballancing Pellets in stock.

California strikes again, huh?

We enjoyed living at Edwards AFB for a year and 3 years in Sacramento. But
now I'm almost ashamed to have BSEE & MSEE from there. The ironic thing is
that now all the clamor is about "global warming". In the early '70's
there were mandatory classes predicting "nuclear winter". :-(

Must be a California thing. They probably don't sell plastic straws either. Tell Jim to keep it quiet that he has them or the KPSPP (Kalifornia
Plastic Straw and Pellet Police) will be knocking on his door.

Yes, but the in-state customers he sells to would also need a KPPPL (Kalifornia Plastic Pebble Possession License) in order to buy them and would be
limited to 100 per sale after a 10 day waiting period.

TIC

I am just having a little fun at Jim K's expense.

Dean,
I just looked up the Freemont Walmart stores and you can order them on line for the next or two day pick up in the store, or home delivery. Five
thousand .20 gram ones start at $10.97.

I really think it is great that Jim stocks them. He has a lot of neat stuff that is not on his website. It saves us a lot of time chasing around
looking for them when we can to just go direct to Jim.

I think you are talking about the difference between climate and weather. Global warming has nothing to do with the "lack" of nuclear winter. If we
keep going on the current pass that our current "leadership" leads us, we could yet end up in a nuclear winter. All it takes is for Russia, China and
US to detonate few hundred nukes each just to measure who's d**k is bigger...

If that happens, the LAST THING you have to worry about is the weather.

Well, you're sorta right: The bases for those two potential phenomena are
entirely different. I should have made it more clear that my point was
that in CA there seems to always be some current screwey notion that's got
to be catered to by everyone. Not to say there's no basis in fact for any
one of those notions -- just that everyone seems to go absurdly overboard
with them.

This is getting more than a little off topic and into an area that is not appropriate for this forum. Please take this to another forum.
Thanks.

Different Larry, but it had gone off topic. I’m happy to talk about GMC’s all day.
