I rebuilt my Dana compressor and purchased a set of Slaten rotary valves
while I was at Marion. I had already purchased a new check valve, water
separator and relief valve from Cinnabar and a pressure switch from
Grainger. I had planned to utilize the existing large tank. At Marion
I saw a bronze 1 1/4 inch IIRC pipe in the shape of a T. Approximately
12 inches high by 6 inches wide. It has a threaded opening on the
bottom
for a water dump valve and 6 threaded openings on the top (just the
right number). Various adapters are needed to get everything to the
correct sizes. All items mount directly to the bronze manifold except
for the lines from the compressor and to the rotary valve. I mounted
the manifold to the frame directly under the pump. IIRC I paid $55
for the bare manifold and a dump ball valve. The adapters cost
approximately $15 at the local plumbing shop. The whole set of stuff is
priced at approximately $200 from Leigh Harrison.
The volume of the pipe manifold is much less so the pump cycles on more
often. Every 30 minutes or so while traveling but only for a moment.
Might use the old tank as an auxiliary vacuum reservoir
