Nelson.........Any industrial supply place can duplicate the hose and
fittings for your air suspension, or you can get it from our nice GMC
suppliers. If you have a side bath, all you have to do is pull out the
medicine cabinet by removing six screws inside it. Yank it out and the hose
and fittings are easily repaired......Jim Davis, 77 Coca Cola, Bandon,

Subject: GMC: various stuff!

1. Rainex really works. Thanks to whoever recommended it. Drove through
heavy
rain storms with vehicles taking shelter under overpasses, yet I didn't
even
have my wipers going!
2 I need help with a leaking shower line. It leaks between the diverter
spout and the shower itself. My Dad noticed that while I was showering,
water
dripped over the wheel well (he was sitting outside). Is there any good
advice
about access to this area?
3. My new Alcoas and Firestone R4S's (Load Range E) are great! I have a
question about tire pressure. When I checked the pressure after getting the
rims from Sears, and mounting them myself, the pressure was 50 The tire
is
rated (max.) at 80 The original GMC manual says 60 I pumped these up to
60 Where do I get the "inflation curve" graph (g)?
4. I would like to assemle a repair "kit" for my suspension air hoses. Who
sells this hose and fittings?
5. My Jim Bounds supplied GMC steering wheel looks and feels "great".

This machine is a wonder. Just took it to Blair, NE to camp with my folks.
Every time I think about improvements on layout, I wonder what to change
that
hasn't already been pretty much thought out. My architects mentality
requires
me to improve this thing, but so far, not much has come to mind. Say one
south
bound GMC on I-29 just north of Council Bluffs, IA, on Saturday, 17 Oct.
Was
it any of you folks???
