A couple of years ago IIRC it was relatively simple to become certified to
handle refrigerants. It seemed like all you had to do was answer a couple
of multiple guess questions and send the questionnaire somewhere. If you passed
then you were mailed a certification. I saw that at the local auto parts store.
I wonder if someone knows what is involved today to become certified (and
I don't mean "certifiable" as in insane which is what we all must be to own a GMC
).
