It may work. You may need to build a cage or something to keep the bending
moment where they are attached to a minimum. I like the four bag system though.
At $95.00 a piece here it seems cheap to me. You can also drive with one flat
bag in the two to a side system. Henry has a lot of miles on his four B. system.
Jim Bounds also has them on his coach. I have driven his and still can't believe
the ride he has. He loads it down pretty good when going to rallies and I didn't
notice any handling problems.
It may be worth investigating Scott. You never know what a little ingenuity
might create. You would have to do it for under $1000 though, because Leigh
Harrison sells his for $1100 I believe. I liked the idea of the other day for a
large truck air bag retrofit. I am still trying to decide which high ticket item
to get first. The four B. System or the 3.70 gears from Jim Kanomata. I wonder
if Leigh is advertising on gmcmart yet. Maybe a supplier for air bags for the 4
BS is in order too. Hey Scott, there you go. Darren

It could be done, but you would need to capture the airbags with retainers.
Bags do fine in compression, but you can't have any torsion.

I haven't found one. The roller sleeve airbag to handle the same loads for
the GMC is far too big in diameter. The double convolute bag like the
Firestone 224 lacks length so you'd need something to replace the tower anyway.

Maybe. Most manufacturers recommend less than a 25 degree angle between the
two plates.
