"I bought a couple of air-bag valve kits at the Rayne rally. They consis=
t
of a
close nipple (1/4"NPT), a block tee, a Shraeder valve, and a Ball valve. =

Using
the close nipple to install the tee to the air-bag is impossible because =
of
interference with the cast swing-arm. Am I missing something here? Is
there a
trick? Or have I just been had? I know I saw other kits with a 45 degree=

ell in
the kit, but I know I have seen installations with the setup coming
straight
out. Are there different swing-arm castings? What's up??????"

Don

To the best of my knowledge there was only one version of the
swing-arm casting (boggie arm)

I installed my shut offs to the inner fender and plumbed the air bag
with a piece of nylon air line.

Even if there were enough space for the valve to be attached to the
air bag and mounted on the boggie arm I don't think I would want
them hanging out there.

I don't know if the fittings you purchased would allow you to do that
but that is what I did.
