Does anyone recall seeing the pictures of how to put the cones in new bags?
I am getting bagged by the air bags trying to install them.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen the pictures somewhere. Seems to me they blow it up so it looks
like a long sausage with the ends sticking out. He then stood it on one
end and as he let out air he pushed the cone down into the bag. I have
heard this is hard. good luck

Louie, to install the cones, you need to put some air into
the bag so that the bag will resist your efforts to push in
the cone. While you are pushing, begin to let some of the
air out of the bag. The bag will then accept the cone. It
sounds complicated, but it is simple when you do it.

Good luck.

I followed the directions from the GMC service manual. It's not hard with a
air compressor but there is a bit of luck. I think Carol was holding my
temper for her own safety.

Someone asked for the OEM numbers of the Firestone air bags. How does
(708502 AY) sound
then more numbers: ( 2T2B - 15) under the Firestone logo.

Hope that helps, and thanks for the link for getting the bag over the cones
:)
