There are at least a couple of solutions to this possibility. One or more
of the GMC web sites and I am reluctant to quote from memory the specs
but one suggests carrying a piece of threaded rod with 4 nuts and another
recommends a certain size piece of wood with studs and nots for each end.
There may be other solutions but the point of my reply is to put your
mind at ease. I should add that in hundreds of thousands of miles I have
never had a bag blow while enroute!
I am sending you a note directly regarding the GMC Motorhome Registry.
