No, it's not a new airline..
Had a slight problem over the weekend in Dallas, was going around a curve in the a road under construction and caught a curb on the right side..
That was an interesting experience, but what else happened was also interesting..
It seems the PO had TIED up the airline with a shoelace so it wouldn't dangle and when the front tandem went to its full travel, it pulled the airline fitting off the end..
Needless to say, I was PO'd at the PO.
Try to find some fittings for a plastic airline (heavy duty) on sunday! Good thing there was an Autozone 1/2 block away.. Got a new compression sleeve and reused the metal insert for the plastic line and got everything to work.
MOTS..
Make sure if you tie up your airlines to use a light spring or something so it will flex..
Otherwise, it ran like a Singer.. (for you more mature people) or clock.

If you're stuck like this, you can go to Home Depot/Lowes/Builders Square
and buy 1/4 inch compression fittings and the brass inserts(usually packed
in a separate package along with a nylon compression sleeve). If you need
more tubing, buy 1/4 inch PEX(crosslinked polyethylene) - it ain't DOT
Approved, but it'll get ya' home(also not UV resistant, so don't leave it in
as long term repair).
