Agreed Value insurance available

After having Progressive agreed value insurance on the GMC for the past 21 years they wouldn't renew as agreed value. At the spring rally Jim Bounds had cards from Miller Insurance located in Oregon. I emailed Cheryl Howarth there and in a week I got agreed value insurance from Progressive! It seems not all agents can write these policies. Miller can write in 41 states. I had an appraisal from Jim Kanamata and that was instrumental. Anyway the number there is 503-636-6347 Contact Ashley or Cheryl Howarth. Easy to deal with and they know about GMC's.

After 21 years they say no...sheesh. Out of curiosity, Wally, how many claims did you have in that time? I'm guessing very few or none.

Only claim was for drivers side windshield in 2015. My local agent just told me they wouldn't renew as agreed value and not that he was why that was. I didn't know any better.

That's what I figured. Not hanging on to a long time 'uneventful' customer is daft.

I'd love to see the difference in claims and amounts paid per customer year between a GMC and say a diesel pusher or Sprinter RV.
