Sorry to say; I did in fact completely miss the Alb. Rally; I have been in
Texas being creative.
I also visited my son in Cal. ; Ojai area, and took in some of the Old
Timers Reunion at the BakersField/Famosa Drags, as well as the Good Guys Car
show in Lake Havasue.
The only trouble I had on the whole 15k miles of travel in the last 2-3
months is the Hayden Fan Clutch(severe duty) lost all its friction.
Replaced with the Hayden normal duty, and have realized a little more
operating temp. on the gauge, and a noticeable increase on the big hills.
I believe I am going to the Thermostatically controlled Electric Fans.
Have yet to install the Thompson Air Pump, but will this week before another
trip to Texas.
The macerator pump is the ticket, much less mess.
My Alcoa/Goodyear G159s are perfect, hardly any wear; no problems.
My Tranny-shift kit and ratio change has always made a believer out of me.
The inline fuel pump, Flow Master Exhaust, and Jacobs Ignition has solved
all those vapor, power loss etc. problems.
My coach is all White now, and I pull a 12 ft. Pace trailer, and drive the
speed limit.
Not bragging; just the facts!
later Jim; my son wants his breakfast....
