Digest GMCnetters,
I noticed that majordummy issued five digests yesterday. The original
plan was that a digest would be issued approximately(for reasons that I
won't elaborate here) every 24 hours or whenever the total character
count of the accumulated messages exceeds 10,000. The original plan
obviously didn't take into account the volume of traffic that would be
achieved in two years.(I remember approx. 18 months ago when 48 hours
would elapse between digests due to light traffic on GMCnet.)
I can reduce the number of digests issued daily by increasing the
maximum character count, therefore this informal straw pole. Would the
digest subscribers rather see fewer larger digests and, if so, how much
larger?
