I have noticed that all GMCnet messages say: from Adrien Genesoto via Gmclist

and when I send a message it shows: To: Adrien Genesoto via Gmclist

I am not sure who Adrien Genesoto is and why the name shows up on all my emails?

Can anyone explain this to me?

Emery,

It looks like your emails are coming from emerystora now instead
of emerystora, this might be causing the issue. Not sure if this
is changed on your device or some setting on icloud/apples site.

I have not seen any of the Adrien Genesoto stuff nor anything from Emery other than Emery Stora via Gmclist.

I am on the mail list ONLY so maybe the problem (again??) is with the Forum function??

It looks like your emails are coming from emerystora now instead
of emerystora, this might be causing the issue. Not sure if this
is changed on your device or some setting on icloud/apples site.

Emery or any other email user's emails are NOT forwarded through the forum. They are processes on an independent email server in a different city.
Emails are sent to the forum for us to view and they are displaying here correctly. The texts are never processed here and returned, unless someone
makes a copy "quote" and adds it to a posting of their own. Also we users NEVER see emailers' addresses. It is a security issue. So only user ids
are seen and used.

Let bdub work on it on the email server. He will find it.

This is a weird one. While "From" headers are changed by the email
server to comply with DMARC, the "To" header is a pass thru. It's
likely someone's address book in their email software is doing this.

I see every email address when someone posts. Just need to click on the
“more” tab

That is an issue with Gmail. By design, they don't show your own posts.
