Hi Guys ,

I haven't tried deleting the low fan speed yet but wondered , if this
was done and while running the A/C it somehow got set to the low speed
setting, would compressor damage result ? Wouldn't the compressor
still be running with no evaporator fan ?? I haven't checked the
wiring diagram yet but that's how I thought it was wired. I guess you
could add a stop to the bottom of the fan lever to prevent the selection
of "low fan" .

The thermostatic switch in the evap core would stop the compressor at 32
degrees.
The worst thing would be the evap could freeze up. It would melt off quickly
enough.

Most folks just want to stop the fan when the top lever is in the off
position, and then the A/C compressor wouldn't be running.

My .02 worth.
