Since this is a first time for us at a campground, is there any thing I
need for AC power hookup? Shore power is now from a standard 120 AC plug
to the large 3 phase plug on the coach. Will the 3 phase plug right
into the power provided at Marion or do I need some other adapters?

Marcus

PS: I know just about everyone on the GMCnet got parking lights, but I
will have some more at Marion. Normally $20 pair but GMCnet discount of
$15.00 per pair.

There are 3 basic types of elec hookups at camp grounds.

20 amp just like the outlets in your house.
30 amp is a also a three bladed plug but larger.
50 amp is a four bladed plug just like a dryer plug.

The GMC had a 50 amp plug as standard.

Most all camp grounds offer both 20 amp and 30 amp.
I would guess that 25 to 40 percent of them offer 50 amp

Camping World carries all the adaptors and they are worth
carrying in your motorhome. Larger Walmarts and Home
Depots may also have them.

I carry a 50amp to 30amp converter and a 30amp to 20amp converter
gives me all hookups that way.

Since Marion is supposed to be a REALLY nice park, I would assume
that they will have 50amp so you can plug right in. The supply shop
there will also have all the adapters available.

Hope that helps
