According to some info that Duane Simmons handed out at Marion, the
following AC/Heat controls from a salvage yard can be used if you save the
vacuum select valve and fan switch from yours:
73 - early 76 70-71 Buick
late 76 - 78 mid 70-80 GM cars
I suppose you look for a donor car with a contro head that looks like yours
from the vintage above. I was looking for a spare until I opened mine up,
cleaned and lubed it.
Did you determine for sure that the control was the source of your vacuum
leak? I believe that most of my vac lines are shot.
