AC Delco R46SZ plug gapping.

Gapping these R46SX down to .040 prior to install. They come at about .060 with the ground electrode sitting parallel. At .040 the electrode has to
be at a slight angle. Is this ok?

It is OK, it will wear a little faster, but not so's you'd notice.

Right. Will favor the square edges instead of jumping around, so they will round off sooner.
