The newer air bag cones have a black protection coating on them, it may
be paint, but it feels like a plastic coating, they are metal underneath
however. My old bag cones were silver and metal too. I do not know if
they were aluminimun or not. I'll bet Wes Cauglin could tell us! Chuck
