Ask for help. Make it safe first. NONE of us care how it looks. Have fun. Buy a GMC, or a car for $35,000. Then see how well you come out 10 years down the road. Plus you end up with a priceless time of your life.

Dave. You've made it simpler by braking the big project into little ones. I can relate to that more then you can imagine. $35,000 plus. And a year of my life. But Linda, and I are very pleased with the outcome. As to the money. I could have spent that $35,000 on an SOB ( some other brand for those that don't know ) that was 12 years old. Then continue to see it's value drop to zero. Please keep us posted.
