Hi
Seems that while my coach ('73 Painted Desert) was in storage - a
field mouse decided to chew a small (about 1" by 2 ") oval hole in the
upper corner of my holding tank. The hole is on the passenger side of
the coach and is accessible from underneath the coach.
My Question is what is the best product to repair such a hole??. I not
sure if the holding tank (original) is ABS,PVC,Thermal Plastic or ???.
It's been suggested that i use a piece of flexible plastic about twice
the size of the hole and glue/seal it with black silicone sealant or
3M windshield adhesive and sealer.
Any one have experience in this area.
P.S. yes - the mouse and family are no longer residing in the holding
tank -- hope they have moved on to some SOB (hee hee)
