We should all get customer service like this from our Internet
providers...

In less than 30 minutes from my inquiry, I received this response
to the Mill Cove legitimacy question:

- - - - r e p l y m e s s a g e - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The e-mail you received regarding Mill Cove Elementary
School's grade 5 project was legitimate. The Grade 5 class
was attempting to map the progress of a single electronic
mail message around the globe.

They were unaware, however, of the potential repercussions
of such a message, and soon the response was overwhelming.
With tens of thousands of messages daily, they soon found
they were unable to handle it all. Global Linx
Internet Inc., a local Internet service provider here in
Nova Scotia, has been working closely with Mill Cove School
to help provide some relief to their problem.

At the request of the school, Global Linx is now rejecting
all electronic mail sent to millcove The staff
and students of Mill Cove School extend their apologies for
any inconvenience this may have caused you.

You may check up on Mill Cove's project by visiting their
web site at the following address:

We appreciate your concern and understanding in this
matter.

Awesome! In addition to the fact that these guys are probably handling
hundreds of inquiries like Mark's. Nice to see that "customer service"
still matters with some ISP's.

FWIW, my message made it through. My wife sent a message 1/2 hour later and
it bounced.

Undoubtedly. OTOH, I'm pretty fast on the keyboard - and got the message
when it came in.

Need any heavy metal parts? I may be able to help when I get back.
