I spent hours on the Donner Pass with broken belts. Fortunately I had
extras. I just had to let everything cool down to work on it. It was
about 106 that day. I also blew out a manifold gasket once. Again it
was wait and cool down. I went into town about 40 miles picked up a set
at the NAPA and hitchiked back. The blown gasket was on the left hand
exhaust so I did not have to remove much to get it back together. Like
I said in my Harley days, if you can't do some work on em' then you
