the next time you reseal the shaft, do not install the felt....the felt
fibers get lodged under the seal...

"BTW, after 2 years service my ALMA A6 is leaking oil
from the seal on the pulley shaft. My A/C knowledgeable friend says that's
always been a problem with these compressors ---new, rebuilt or otherwise.
That's all I know for now.

the felt is there to keep the dirt out...but it's so far down the shaft the
felt fibers are worse than dirt...
