Larry,
I just had a problem with my dash lights. Turns out that the radio
ground was wired to the hot wire for the dash lights. Only took Emery
and I a few hours to figure that out. You should check the headlight
switch. I found one at Checker for 10 bucks, found the short and
returned it. You have to drop the bottom half of the dash, pull the
light switch all the way out and then press a little button which will
release the knob. Then you spin off the bezel and the unit drops right
out. We asked for a 76 Tornado headlight switch. Good Luck. The hot
wires on my 78 Royale to the dash lights are all gray. Make sure that
you don't have an extra fuse wired in someplace. Do you think anything
could have changed from the Jacob's installation?
