It all depends on how you use the coach. How many batteries and what type
(golf cart, ordinary starter, gel cell, etc)? How much power do you need
(Ah or watts per day)? I find that with the way in which we use our coach,
the two golf cart batteries will last us 2-3 days before we need to
recharge. Recharge time for the way we manage our battery charge state for
us is about 3 hours using the Statpower TrueCharge 40+.

You can probably get the same battery capacity using the right (maybe
expensive) batteries in two banks - one under the hood and the other in the
rear battery compartment. Then you will have room for your Onan.

What type of coach do you have? Are you sure that the unit under the sink
is a hot water heater and not a furnace? Many of the GMCs (I'm not sure if
all) had a 110V/engine preheat water heater mounted in the bath area
behind the lower sliding doors.

There are many pictures available to help you with any
upgrades/replacements that you may need to do. Check www.gmcmotorhome.com
for the list of links to personal pages. Several of us have large amounts
of data available for anyone who wants to look. Gene has a great list of
all possible upgrades (that he knows about at least) with links to more
information.

Good luck!

Just for luck, you might want to read through this list.

This is a place to start.
