Hi All,

Just looked at a 73 Olds Toronado at the salvage yard - they'll tow it to
the shop next week, I'll keep what I want and the rest goes back.
Is there anything other than engine, transmission/final drive,
axles, knuckles, lower control arms(?) that's worth keeping?

I know this has been discussed before - is the intake manifold the same as
on the GMCs? I take it the exhaust manifolds aren't even close.

Or am I crazy for doing this at all??
I don't need any of these parts for my coach at the moment (maybe the
knuckles), I guess I just didn't want to let the Olds go to the crusher -
they are hard enough to find up here.

Thanks,

Peter

Peter, by all means save the exhaust manifolds. They are the same as on the
motorhome. Good hunting.

Lanier, Justin, Pat, Gene, Mark,

Thanks for your replies to my Toronado post. I'll try to save as many parts
as I can, my wife already calls me a packrat so what difference does it
make! I may have to get rid of some of my Jeep Wagoneer parts to make room -
anybody interested?
My coach came with headers, so I didn't know what the original exhaust
manifolds looked like.

Peter, I am looking for a set of heads for the 455. Has anyone expressed
interest? If you would like to sell, please let me know off the net at
