'73 or '74?

Ok now I'm really confused about the TZE on my '74 (?) CL

The TZE tells me I have a '74 CL but the date of manufacture is 11/73.
Anyone have an idea on what year it really is?

Your chassis was built in 1973 but your coach was built and registrered
in 1974 and therefore what you have is a 1974.

In 1973 and in 1977 the gas crunch caused GM to stop production several
times and I suspect a lot of coaches built during the 1st half of the
year have chassis built the year before.

Thats why a lot of us who have 1977 models have 455 engines. My 77
Kingsley was actually built in Nov. 1976.
