Company is building up a 6x6 gmc in Phoenix. I know it will make some purist mad, but pretty cool in my book. As long as they are getting used, and
not rotting in a field getting chewed up by mice, I think it is all a good thing. Even if it is no longer FWD.

It is definitely going to need at least 2 Ragusa steps.

Rob,

They took the Avion, because they want to let it fly over the hills ;)

Very cool ...!!

Always remember, the world is full of nice people!
So, if you can't find one, be one!

Yeah, so much for 1-step entry! If I keep having those birth
anniversaries, I'm going to need one of those spare tire lift/mounts!

Neat!

I'd like to see how they set up the driveline, specifically how they drive the 2 rear axles.

Tain't nuthin GMC motor home back there. More'n likely military Duce and a
half stuff. Lot of that stuff surplus in Vegas area. All those monster
trucks that I have looked at closely use it. Hell for strong.

Jim,
From the frame photos i saw, it is pretty obvious the chassis is totally custom built for the task. Like you, I'm assuming they used military 6x6 equipment as it is the most readily available. I'd like to see more technical details on the build as I've occasionally thought of building an all-terrain RV. Something about the vast wilderness we have up here in the great white north.
