Ken,
Right you are, I have one of the two Elam Fayard coaches.  There was a third, a 23-foot, but it was, unfortunately, destroyed in a fire. I have kept his upgrades: the slide-out shower, the hidden bathroom sink, the hidden toilet, the TV cabinet in the dash, the hidden TV cabinet in the rear, the slide-out pantry, the custom oak cabinets, the hardwood floor, etc., etc.  His son told me that he bought the coach, stripped "everything" out of the interior and started over.  He also lifted the body from the frame, re-did the running gear and developed many of the add-on fiberglass items we have on our coaches.  I never met him but, obviously, he was a very creative gentleman.  I understand that he was also the first president of GMCMI.  I'm proud to be the custodian of his work.

The other Elam Fayard coach was owned by Bob Drews who removed most of the trick stuff and it was a good idea at the time by really not practicable. The coach is now own by Kim Weeks and her husband.
