500 pound onan

Does the 4000 onan really weigh 500lbs.? I looked in the service
manual and didn't find any info on total weight. Not a big deal
until I go to remove it for a repair. Seems to Me it should
only weigh about 250 Max.

Hi Scott,
I will build an aframe to remove the Genset. But Im not going to get
to that till next summer. I will keep My toes outa the way.
Sure wish My engine parts were done!

Don't know about the 4000 but the 6000 comes in at just over 510lbs. Be
