500 eldo

I know this has been around before, but if it doesn't interest you at the
time you forget it and hit delete.......here's the question....ive found a
76 eldo cheap......can most of the parts be used and would an up grade to
the 500 be wise?? I know several have the 500 but can't for the life of me
remember who they were........tia
