50 -250 Torque Wrench at Home Depot

Thank you Bruce!
I'm getting mine today. My old one only goes to 150 foot pounds. This one will handle the axel bolts..
Thanks for the heads up!
Scott.

Before I run out and buy one of these (I used to have 2 250 foot pound wrenches for the steel wheels, but they both broke). I am wondering if I need
one rated for 250 lbs? I have several 0-150 lb wrenches that I use for the wheels (Alcoa's spec show 140 right on the nut). The axle nut spec
according to the Service Manual is 140-250 FT. LBS. There is a footnote "NOTE: after reaching minimum torque required, nut must always be tightened
to insert the cotter pin. Never back nut off." I've found that going to 140 and turning to the next hole seems to work. I hope I am not wrong
here.

If so, I can use the $50 to buy some other tool that I will only use once or twice. That seems to be my game.

I made an error in typing, I said the max torque "250" in reality the book shows "280". Sorry about that.

Longer than my 150 lb 1/2 drive torque wrench. More like a breaker bar length. Will be much easier on my back! Regular price was $89.
Maybe not for everyone.

If I didn't already have 2 150 lb wrenches I would go for this deal. Husky should be around longer than I will. So far I have not had a problem with
the length of my 150 lb wrenches, but as I get older and stuff get heavier and harder to manage....

Both the 1/2" (250 lb-ft) AND the 3/8" (10-100 lb-ft) are on sale at the $50 price. I bought both with 10% military/veteran discount.
