Jim Owens owns the Corvair convertible. His coach is second from the right in the photo.

They love the fuselage feel of the GMC. Can't blame 'em!
The Birchaven's PPO was a pilot, aircraft mechanic, total flyboy, he made the GMC cockpit reminiscent of a plane cockpit. Lots of switches and gauges (without going overboard), redundancy (3 oil pressure gauges??), overhead console with switches...
Closest I'll ever get to flying a plane!
