Jim K. called Thursday to say that my differential shipped Tuesday.
Should have it Monday or so. I have the tranny shop ready and waiting
arrival of "The Sweat Lodge" to start the healing process. Hope this is the
last time (for a looong time) that I have her in for repairs. Anyone gotta
good idea of how many shop hours it will take to R&R the differential once
the tranny is out? I asked before but didn't get any takers.
Just about 55 degrees here so I thought I'd take the Bad Boy out for a
mid-January spin! Gotta watch out for the gravel on the streets but it is
nice and dry. Should be about -20 degrees now with a high of about 0. Never
rode in January so this should be a real treat. Usually have the bike in a
million pieces by now but the weather has been WAY too nice. At the rate I'm
going it will look just like last years model! Oh, well... gotta have
priorities, I guess. No cabin fever this year!!! Yippee! Heck, in 6 weeks
it'll be March and we'll be on the downhill slide of 'ol man Winter. Hard to
believe that the times going by so fast...
