Whoa! That's close to home. Did a reverse lookup and that phone number
matches up with an address about 3 miles from Hartsfield Airport in SW
Atlanta. Not a bad price if it's in good shape, but "dual air" on a 23?
Maybe that means dash and roof air?

Might stop by on the way home one day and have a look-see.

Patrick Just picked these few 23 footers off of Wheat motorhome site.
They have 20 or thirty listed there. Wish I was in buying mode again.
>From what I've seen in the past year it sure looks like a buyers market.
Can't hardly imagine any serious buyer not find "the right one" from the
large number that are being advertised. Have an aquaintance here locally
who has been trying to sell his for past year with no luck.

A got an irate telephone call last week from a gentleman that lives in the
Atlanta area. Told me he had a GMC for sale three years ago and that I had
put it on the internet. Went on to say that the coach had been sold for
over two years and he was still getting calls and asked for me to please
pull the ad. I explained to him that all the ads on my site are paid for 30
days and if you don't renew, they're gone. Further explained that this was
the first time I had ever heard of him. I told him I would try to find his
ad and see what I could do to get it removed.

A short search later(used his telephone number as search argument), I found
the ad on Wheat's site. Sent Wheat an email and called the fellow back. He
claims he never heard of Wheat and never asked him to post his coach for
sale on the net.

This is not the first time this has happened, but before it's always been an
ad on John Culver's site. Moral of this story, take the number of ads
listed on "free" sites with a large helping of salt.

Yep, the balance has definitely shifted to the buyer's side of the equation.
I had a lot of luck early on selling coaches on my site, but I think there
was an initial "pent up" demand and that's been taken care of now. Roger
says he's leaning toward a "fixer-upper" and I think that's where the best
bargains are now for someone with the mechanical ability to take on the
task.

Patrick,
I have had the same experience on old ads. When I posted a wanted ad, I
saved every location that I placed it on so that I can also remove them. I
have this little problem in that I have a bit of difficulty corresponding
with the folks via the phone. Just about limits me to email responses. I
DO have some stories on some of the phone calls I did make.{:>)

Thanks to all on my quest. I'll get there, or drive the net nuts first.

Roger I happened to see a couple of your want ads yesterday. The first one
was for a dry bath with made down beds and the other was for 23'. Think I saw
one on RVTRADER ,dont remember where the other was.
