It would be helpful to prospective buyers to know how high the seat mounting platforms are; IIRC there are two heights 10 inches and
7 inches.

This I did not know. I'll take a measurement and some pictures and add them to my post. Is the measurement the overall height or the height of the
sheet metal base?

It's the height of the flat seat mounting base from the floor; the trapezoidal bases were all the same height.
