Go for it. I have dual 13,500 BTU units, and can run both, the water heater,
and pretty much anything else that I want to run with no difficulty IF a 50A
shore power receptacle is available. If all you get is a 30, forget it - single
A/C only or it will trip. Keep in mind that the 40A is a 240 Volt, two leg
feed, and the 30A is single, so you really get 80A of available power on the
50A outlet vs. 30A on the 30.
