FYI
Last year I blew out 2 Goodyear "E" Workhorses!
I bought 6 new Goodyear "E" tires. Loved them,
zero trouble. Put over 30,000 miles on them.
Zero uneven tread wear. Had about 1/3 to 1/2 of
the tread left at 31,000 (26 months old).
Decided to rotate front to extreme rear as they
had most wear. On the very next trip a front
(the better one I moved from rear) blew!
Bought 4 Michelins (all they had available) - XPS.
Kept the two best Goodyears on extreme rear.
Blew another Goodyear on way home. Bought 3 more
Michelins (incl spare!).
Lucky - no damage.
So... I am 100% All Steel. Blowouts are definately not
on my top 10 list of things I want to do....
