Advance apologies, realizing this probably not correct forum for this, but
found list couple months ago & have so enjoyed discussions, reliving some
past experiences. Just reaching out hoping list members can point me in
right direction. Someone mentioned previous post that some GMCs were sold
just as a bare coach for buyer to customize. I think that's what we have.
We bought a 1978 in mid-1980s that had been used as mobile classroom. Hubby
loved nothing more than a new "project" & we'd long admired the GMCs.
Proceeded to get furnishings ... barrel chairs, dinette, 3 way frig,
cabinets, etc. Although we never got it totally restored, we loved our
travels in it & understood the love affair owners have with the coach.
Long story short, husband had extended illness, & died few years ago.
Although it hasnt been used for some time, believe it has some value to
fellow GMC lovers. It has the Olds Toronado engine. Live near Richmond VA.
Happy to discuss privately via text to 804 three ten 84 eight four.
Appreciate any help.

Yours is a “Transmode” ( empty conversion) unit that the owner makes into
an office, classroom whatever.

Pictures are welcome and encouraged.

I talked to Ann. The coach has been sitting for 8 years. Overall condition is unknown. I plan to go look at it and advise her on what she has and help
her sell it on Saturday the 31st of July. I personally am not looking for another project but will do a good assessment for it's condition. I'll post
that next Sunday.

A 1978 coach that was a rolling library that the owners turned into a usable RV. The coach has 70345 on the speedometer. Condition is extremely poor.
The coach has not moved in 8 years. Chassis is rusty. The interior is moldy and half disassembled. It wont roll out of its location easily. Tires are
holding air but the bags are shot. I have placed pictures of it at http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g7370-1978.html and
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g7371-1978-b.html. I will be vetting interest for the owner. She is elderly and very busy with personal business.
Any questions or interest please PM me. Location is Chesterfield Virginia. This coach will be sold as is and not parted out. Looking for offers on
price. Tks....

Sad! I know where one's at that was sitting in the same spot for several
years before I bought mine in '98 -- it looks no worse than that one!
What's she offering to get it moved? :-(
